People. Places. Everyday moments. Sacred connections. Mother Nature... These are a few of my favorite things.

I am endlessly fascinated by the human experience and the way we connect.  I love being present to witness the energy and love within families. The fleeting chaos, curiosity and wonder of little children. Capturing images of mothers and their children together is important to me. I am drawn to portrait photography and that vulnerable moment where we really allow ourselves to be seen. Our time on this earth is precious. I want to use my art to tell the truth about our unique and wholehearted experiences.

My love for photography began as a teen when I purchased my first 35 mm film camera. Since that moment photography has given me a platform to honor and document the world around me. I am formally trained in film photography and I have a solid foundation in fine arts with a focus on painting and photography. Now I use a full frame Nikon DSLR. But, as a hobby, I still enjoy using vintage film cameras and dark room photo processing methods.

I am a mother, an artist, a maker and a dreamer.

I am based in Minnesota and I work in the Twin Cities area, with a strong willingness to travel.
